I used this item when I was taking a break from my menstrual cup, and enjoyed the experience! The discharge was absorbed efficiently into the briefs, and they were easy to wash at the end of the day. It also fit me well, and made me feel confident.
Doesn't really hold for too long. I wore it from around 10pm to 8 am the next day and it leaked quite badly when I was seated having breakfast. Would recommend only if your flow isn't too heavy.
It was my first time using period pants after having the wish to try them for a long time. I’m absolutely happy with them. They are comfy and you absolutely don’t have to worry about leakage. I wash them when I take a shower and then throw them into the washing machine. Easy peasy. I would say that you need more then one for your period cycle or substitute with other products (menstrual cup, reusable pads etc.)
For some one who's been using overnight pads and tampons for 20 years, I was extremely excited to give these a try. I was eager to reduce waste as well. My first experience wasn't as expected. I soiled my sofa and had no idea why :') but as with pads and sticks and cups, it is the notion of getting used to. These were comfy none the less.
It's a very basic pair of period pants - vastly prefer the ones from modibodi. These are much thinner in comparison, don't absorb as much, and don't feel secure at all because of the sizing and cut. If you're using them as your only period product (w/o a tampon, cup or pad) then you're almost guaranteed to stain and bleed through, unless your flow is light. Still, they are decently comfortable and breathable.
